About the National Aviation Conference
The National Aviation Conference (NAC) is an initiative of the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA), aimed at providing a shared platform between the Authority and aviation industry. The purpose of the annual NAC event is to share knowledge for mutual enrichment and collaboration to advance safety and security within aviation. It presents an opportunity to proactively engage on matters of interest; seek ways to accelerate transformation; share best practices; encourage voluntary compliance and grow the industry.
The Conference amalgamated three previous independent events hosted by the SACAA. The National Safety Seminar, the National Aviation Security Safety Seminar, and the Aviation Industry Growth Conference were merged into the National Aviation Conference, which debuted in March 2019 and has been held annually since.
