Communication, Navigation, and Surveillance
The Communication, Navigation and Surveillance section is responsible for the auditing and approval of Electronic Services Provider Organisations, including Flight Calibration Services, the inspection of Navigation, Voice and Data Communication systems and Surveillance systems.
The team is also responsible for the management and protection of aeronautical frequency spectrum resources, the type approval of ground-based navigation, communication and surveillance systems, and frequency assignments in the aeronautical frequency spectrum.
