Airport Management  

 

The 5th amendment of the Safety Regulations of 1981, provides that the airport security officer shall be, in the case of a company airport, a person appointed by the company with the Minister’s approval and any other airport a person designated by the airport manager with the concurrence of the Chief: Civil Aviation Security.

 

Air carrier

 

National Air carriers, operating a scheduled operation, with a minimum seating of 19 passengers shall designate an air carrier security officer, whose responsibility shall be to take all civil aviation security measures, and coordinate all activities with regard to security at that air carrier, in accordance with the approved air carrier security plan.
