Procedures for the re-mark of Examinations
1. A candidate who fails
an examination conducted by the Civil Aviation Authority, may within 30 days
from the date of notification of the examination results, apply in writing for
a re-mark. Candidates who fail with a mark of 65% or above may request a
remark.
2. The application shall
be accompanied by the appropriate fee prescribed in Part 187 (R350.00); and the
coaching report/statistic report.
3. If the re-mark is
successful, the fee will be refunded.
4.
Candidates
for re-writes may not be allowed to re-write examinations, which they believe
they may have failed, until they have received the official result
notification. Furthermore, applicants who have applied for a re-write may
not apply for the examination being remarked until they receive the official
examination result notification.
