carries out technical audits (inspections) on 3 types of organizations namely;

Aircraft Maintenance Organizations (AMO’s)

Aircraft Design Organizations
Q
Manufacturing, Processing & Testing Organizations (MPT’s).
The purpose of carrying out
such inspections is 3-fold;
Q
For the initial issuance of their licenses and approvals.
Q
For the renewal of such licenses and approvals.
Q
Adhoc inspections to
ensure that these organizations comply with the requirements of the Civil
Aviation Regulations (CAR’s) in undertaking their
tasks.
