Aeroplanes required to be
equipped with an airborne collision avoidance system (ACAS II)
Please be reminded that as from 1 January 2005, all
turbine engine commercial air transport aeroplanes of a maximum certificated
mass in excess of 5 700kg or with a maximum approved passenger seating
configuration in excess of 19 passengers, will be required to carry the ACAS II
system in accordance with regulation 121.05.15 of the Civil Aviation
Regulations, 1997.
